We are so pleased to share some of the story of our first Montagu Project Camp Ambassadors. Appel Speelman and Jason Antonie were selected to be the ambassadors for the inaugural year of the Camp Ambassador program due to the excellent work they have been doing in their community and for so well representing the values of The Montagu Project. We have watched with pride and delight as these two fine young men have shared themselves and their cultural background with the people of the United States. From making new American friends, to visiting the Passamaquoddy Tribe and the musicians in its drum circles, to great times with their homestay hosts' family, to celebrating the final performance of Lihle Mfene's dance workshop, to hanging out with Montagu Project buddies, to visiting New York City and meeting local musicians, to endless fun with the staff and campers at Center Day Camp, quite a busy schedule!
